E.M.S. History and Donations

• In 1971 Walter Quast donated an old Cadillac Hearse - that was our 1st Ambulance. 

• The 1st new ambulance was an International van in 1978

• The first ambulance group was called "Mainstreet Responders"

• The Buffalo Lake Community is very fortunate and blessed that two retired school teachers; Evelyn Leander and Mae Johnson donated funds for a new ambulance

• We've gotten money donated from private citizens, Area Townships, Organizations and Clubs, Thank you everyone.

• Money was donated by one local club for "Bus Extrication Training", it was greatly appreciated and we thank you for that.
